Missions & Outreach Compassionate service and sharing God's story of salvation with others are central to Peace Lutheran Church. Many groups within our congregation participate in missional service through ChristCare or youth activities. We also have congregation-wide opportunities for service. If you have a passion for outreach, ideas to share or questions about getting involved with outreach ministry at Peace, please contact a member of the Board of Mission & Outreach or Bethany Ramse. Look for the food barrels in the Narthex and the lower level by the parking lot entrance. Donations can also be made in your offering envelope, indicating NEAR Food Shelf.
Volunteer Opportunities with Habitat For Humanity
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers to partner with new Habitat homeowners during their first year of homeownership. Are you interested in welcoming a new family to your community? Volunteers will share knowledge of local resources and build connections by visiting together quarterly. If you are interested, call the individual volunteer coordinator at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (612) 305- 7114 about the Neighborhood Family Partner Program.
