Snow Tubing
Saturday, February 11th, 1:00pm
We’re going to enjoy some winter fun together – tubing at Elm Creek! Ride a moving sidewalk up a hill 10 stories high and then soar back down on a specially designed inner tube. Once you get to the bottom, do it all over again! Bring your friends, boots, snow pants and $12 for two hours of fellowship and fun. Meet at Peace at 1:00pm.  

30 Hour Famine Kick-Off Meeting
Sunday, March 4th 
Save the Date! This year’s 30 Hour Famine will be April 27th -28th. Come to the kick-off meeting on Sunday, February 26th after worship to see the Famine video, give and hear ideas for this year’s weekend plans, pick up your fundraising materials and get excited to save lives! We’ll meet in the Youth Room.

Kickball Tournament in the Dome

Are you ready for some kickball? Our youth group has been invited to participate again in the Night In The Dome Kickball Tournament at Concordia University. Youth groups from around the twin cities will hang out and compete. Spots for teams are filling up quickly so we need to form our team soon! Sign-up with Bethany. Cost: $3.

National Youth Gathering
San Antonio, July 1-5, 2013
The National Youth Gathering is an extraordinary event that brings together nearly 30,000 young people in the name of Jesus. For five days, youth groups from across the country join as one to celebrate their faith. The Gathering includes mass events held in the Alamodome, daily Bible study, time with the youth group, worship, laughing, living, talking, shouting, and playing with a great Christian community. Concerts, bands, exhibits, food, sports, hands-on-learning and servant events are all part of the Gathering as well. Significant time is needed to fundraise for this trip, so we’re starting to plan now!
